A review was conducted on the security issues in the holy place of Tirumala. A high-level security audit was conducted at Annamayya Bhavan in Tirumala in the presence of Harish Kumar Gupta, Principal Secretary (Home), Government of AP. Devotees are coming to Tirumala in large numbers after Corona. Vehicular traffic is also increasing. Thousands of people are coming every day. At this time, security has become very important. Heavy security has already been arranged around Tirumala.
What security measures should be taken in the latest review? Arrangement of additional staff, use of technology, arrangement of patrols to avoid trouble for devotees and other issues were discussed separately. Harish Kumar Gupta has focused more on how to increase security as the traffic is increasing.
