Director Shankar’s daughter Aditi Shankar and Siva Karthikeyan starrer Maaveeran is breaking the box office after its release. On the first day Rs. 7.61 crore looted. At the box office this year, Tunivu Rs. 24.59 crore, while Mani Ratnam’s Ponniyan Selvan collected Rs. 21.37 crore and Rs. 19.42 crore, Maaveeran became the highest grosser after the film.
Madone Ashwin directed the movie Mandela which came out in 2021. The same director has now made Maaveeran. Along with Siva Karthikeyan and Aditi Shankar, Miskin, Yogi Babu, Sunil, Sarita, and Monisha Blessy acted in supporting roles.
Meanwhile, the movie makers have decided to release the movie Maaveeran on August 11 next month. Maaveeran was released on July 14 as Superstar Rajinikanth’s Jailer was slated to release on the same day. Movie makers are happy with the huge openings on the first day.
